This was the first time Royal Caribbean had done a 9-day Alaskan turn-around cruise. The boat was being re-configured to do Mexican cruises for the winter, so we were able to cruise with the boat as it was turned around from the north to the south. We had a mid-stop at San Francisco before finally ending the trip in L.A.

We had three Navy F-18s fly by - twice. I think they were already on patrol, and just letting us know they were there.
